I officed and ran small teams at Kiln for six years, joining even before the downtown location opened its doors in 2018. From the start, it was clear that their design team was among the best in the industry — the aesthetic, layout, and overall atmosphere were ahead of their time and reflected a genuine vision for the future of work.. Over the years, I watched Kiln expand rapidly, and while the growth is impressive, it has come with challenges. Leadership transitions and a strong emphasis on expansion have at times overshadowed the experience of existing members. Middle management has struggled to maintain consistency, communication, and accountability across locations.. Unfortunately, during my tenure I also witnessed recurring issues with theft and a lack of adequate response, which raised real concerns about safety and oversight. While Kiln remains a beautifully designed space with great potential, I would hesitate to describe it as a truly safe or well-managed environment.

Mainstay came to Utah for a company team building event. We booked a space at Kiln workspace. We were surprised at the great service and amazing amenities. Meredith the manager made sure the place was clean and very well organized in the space. Grace at the front desk was welcoming and always was willing to help. Isha in the Bix Cafe made us an amazing ice coffee and the sandwiches were fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back here in the future. Thank you all so much!
