Avoid this place if you care at all about being comfortable. I would give negative stars if I could. Lots of these reviews are bots or Kasa (I.e., short term renters). Worst building I’ve ever been in for the same reasons that others have mentioned:. Elevators constantly break with no clear communication on repair plans. This is despite supposed “upgrades” a few years ago. As I write this, 1 half of the building (30 floors) is down to a single working elevator with 20+ minute wait times. They shut the water off at least once every few months for hours, never providing clear direction on when it’ll be back. You will never have a comfortable temperature in your apartment because of the heating / cooling system they use. My bedroom is 20 degrees warmer than my living room at all times and it’s impossible to sleep in, even with fans. The wi-fi is horrendous. I pay for expensive upgrades and still have outages. It’s very difficult to work from this building, not to mention visitors get annoyed when they can’t get online. My apartment was not at all ready for move-in: broken toilet, oven was unusable, etc.. Building staff (front desk, maintenance engineers) are LOVELY—incredibly kind and helpful people, way more than other buildings—but management needs to seriously transform the way they operate and the investments they’re making in the building itself. I have truly hated living here.. 10/10 do not recommend, worst building I’ve ever lived in

I’ve loved living at One Superior Place! The community is amazing — I’ve met great friends here and the staff truly go above and beyond. The amenities are top-notch and the location can’t be beat. Easily one of the best places to live in Chicago!
